Welcome to Transfur App ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our platform, you ("you", "user", or "participant") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

Transfur App provides a platform to help animal rescue organizations coordinate with volunteers for transportation and foster care. Your use of our services implies agreement with these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian to use the platform. By registering, you represent that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • All activity under your account
  • Updating your information as needed

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used inappropriately.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Share content that is obscene, offensive, or violates the law
  • Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the platform

5. Matching and Communication

Transfur App facilitates connections between organizations and volunteers, but:

  • We do not guarantee matches or availability
  • We are not responsible for the conduct of users
  • All logistics and responsibilities (e.g., animal safety, timing, transport readiness) remain with the involved parties

Use caution and good judgment when interacting with others.

SMS Communications

If you provide your phone number:

  • You consent to receive SMS messages related to Transfur services
  • Message frequency varies based on your activities
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Text STOP to opt out at any time
  • Text HELP for assistance
  • Opt-out requests are processed via the same 10DLC number used for messaging
  • We NEVER share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes

6. Data Protection and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. By using Transfur:

  • You acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy
  • You understand we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing
  • You agree that your data will only be used for Transfur platform operations
  • You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time

7. Content Ownership

Users may post or provide content (e.g., transport requests, messages). You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for purposes of operating the platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimers

  • Transfur App is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content
  • We are not liable for damages resulting from your use of the platform

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California, United States.
